They advertise vehicles online with massive discounts; in my case, over $7,000 off MSRP, to appear competitive and draw interest. But, once you engage with them, they load the quote with over $6,000 in inflated, questionable fees and “optional” add-ons that were never disclosed upfront.
Here’s what they tried to sneak in:

I brought my Corvette to Tropical Chevrolet on May 30, 2024 to change the tires. Unfortunately, and to my dismay, when I picked up my Corvette, my rims were scratched and damaged by the Tech who changed the tires. The tech was sloppy when he changed my tires and scratched my rims. I met with the Service Director Julio in June who agreed to fix and repair the damage to my rims. Took my Corvette to have tires replaced and Alignment. They marked the rims and I did not see when I picked up because there was grease all over the rims to cover the marks. After the Alignment, my Vette pulls to the right, when I told my advisor Geovanny, he told me that’s normal. I am unhappy with the service I received and frustrated how they do not stand behind their work.
I received excellent service from Maria in service. Also the service time was very good. I didn’t have to wait very long.

Very professional and courteous Employees. I was greeted at the door and treated very well. I would definitely recommend tropical Chevrolet.! And I was super happy with my purchase! They treated me very very fair. I shopped around and tropical Chevrolet gave me the best deal and JONATHAN went out of his way to make sure that I got that deal.
No response. Called dealership directly 4 times and left message no returned call. Answered automated emails but no response from dealership. Asked for a price quote but no call or email. The worst experience with any seller.
Dealership is very difficult to work with, change numbers three times, baited me and then switched me on a figure. Dealership's website shows a sales price and then when you get a quote from them, it’s much higher than what the website shows, misleading dealership. Terrible dealership. I would never recommend them.

We originally intended to get a trax Mario the sales agent made sure to find the one we wanted and give us updates for when it would arrive. He followed up with us and was very nice. Sofia in finance did her best to find us a good deal ultimately we couldn’t get the trax but made sure we had a vehicle before we left. Looking forward to working with them again.
